2023 D19 HARVEST CUP OVERVIEW FOR FALL BALL COORDINATORS
1. Each League will have one Fall Ball Rep that will communicate with the D19 Fall Ball Coordinator
a) League Coordinators will be the only ones communicating between one another.
b) Do not have managers, coaches, etc. communicating about Fall Ball issues.
2. All D19 2019 Fall Softball & Baseball schedules and rules cannot be changed without D19 approval
3. Leagues must submit all teams they are entering by August 26th 2023
a) Include: League name, Team name, date of birth & Division
b) Leagues must open registration to all potential LL players (no team engineering)
c) If a League is entering more than one team in a division, they must hold a draft
4. Leagues will submit Field availability to D19 at the Sept 5 Fall Ball Rep Meeting
5. Scheduling for Baseball & Softball will consist of (6) official D19 Games starting 9/09/2023
a) Games will be played on Saturdays (times to be scheduled)
b) Games will be scheduled by D19 (Divisions will be created if needed)
c) Leagues may play additional games if agreed to between both Leagues (Only D19 Harvest Cup Baseball & Softball Rules may be used for these extra games)
6. BASEBALL & SOFTBALL ROSTERS WILL BE BASED ON A PLAYER’S 2024 SPRING AGE
a) Please see rule 18 below for Fall Ball League Age for Divisions
7. Rosters will be submitted no later than the Mandatory Manager’s Meeting (9/2/2023)
a) Manager Contact info will be submitted to D19 and a master list will be available to all
8. Managers will have rosters, pitching log, and each player’s medical form with them at all games
a) Rosters will consist of Division, Team Name, Manager Name, & Players Names
b) Pitching log will be initialed by opposing manger and ump after each game
c) Pitchers will be only allowed to pitch 2 Innings per games in the regular season for Major division and below, 50/70 and above in baseball may use 3 innings, Softball Junior and Seniors can use 3 innings as well.
9. If Leagues need to have a combined team, they will need approval from D19 and it is only for the Fall Season
10. Uniforms should have League name on the front and number on the back
11. Leagues will have fields prepped and will provide umps. (2 umps for 50/70, Junior, Senior Divisions)
12. New players can be added to the Leagues’ Insurance by adding players into the league’s rosters at the LL data center. They will have to be registered and paid before Fall Ball commences.
13. Players will be required to play at least 60% of official D19 Fall Ball Games (4 games) in order to play in the Harvest Cup Tournament at the end of the regular Fall season.
a) Each Manager must have a scorebook with them for all games
b) Scorebooks must be signed by both Managers after the game is over
14. Please be familiar with the D19 Verified Fall Baseball & Softball Rules
a) Managers MUST have the D19 rules with them at each game
15. The Harvest Cup Tournament will start immediately after all 6 scheduled D19 games end
a) All teams make the Harvest Cup Tournament
b) There is no seeding for the Tournament. Teams will play each other randomly
c) Tournament play has no effect on how many games you play during the Fall. Tournament is held in addition to any games played during the Fall.
16. D19 will provide umps for Harvest Cup Championship games, but the host league will pay.
17. The following are the divisions for Fall Ball:
8/9/10 Minor Baseball
11/12 Major Baseball
12/13 Intermediate Baseball
13/14 Junior Baseball
14/15/16 Senior Baseball
8/9/10 Minor Softball
11/12 Major Softball
13/14 Junior Softball
14/15/16 Senior Softball
